The Wandering DP – Advanced Cinematography: Location Lighting

This course is the pinnacle of my experience as a cinematographer and a content provider in the film industry.

From a decades worth of on set experience to nearly 300 episodes of the Wandering DP Podcast I have set out on a journey to develop a system for commercial cinematography. This course is the summation of that 10 year journey.

When I started developing this course I went through a number of variations before finally realizing that the best way to share the knowledge and experience I had benefited from in my own career was to lay it ALL out.

I wanted to create a course that showed exactly how I look at a job, the world, and the profession.

Open source the system so people that want to build on the information don’t have to spend the years I did on constructing the foundation.

In Advanced Cinematography: Location Lighting, you and I will walk through an entire commercial production like a DP does in the real world.

The course is structured so that we analyze every aspect a cinematographer is responsible for and all along the way I share my style, areas I’ve learned to excel in, and what to expect from collaborators throughout the process.

This is the future of cinematography education.
